I'm the owner of TOTEM Properties, which has been the top local, independent real estate brokerage in Clatsop County since 2020. ASTORIA
Astoria is the crown jewel of the Oregon Coast, with deep history as Oregon's oldest city. This riverfront city on the Columbia River is captivating, with local breweries, museums, restaurants and a thriving art scene. The hills are steep in Astoria, so the majority of homes here enjoy a water view of some sort. Sometimes crusty, always amazing, Astoria has a history and flavor that's completely unique.
SEASIDE
Seaside is the quintessential summertime beach town. A hub of tourism & activity, Seaside provides tons of fun activities for the whole family, no matter what your age. Tree lined streets and quaint old beach homes are just blocks from the Seaside promenade and an amazing beach for year round enjoyment. World class surfing can be enjoyed at the South end of town, and anytime is great for bonfire at the beach.
CANNON BEACH
& ARCH CAPE
Cannon Beach is a small but bustling vacation town, recognized widely for the iconic Haystack Rock. One of the most popular destinations, there are countless dining opportunities, adorable streets lined with shops, and plenty of events during the summer months. Arch Cape is Cannon Beach’s quiet neighbor to the south; a quiet community nestled between the coastal forest and the ocean.
GEARHART
Don't blink or you might miss this sleepy little beach town. Gearhart is a favorite second home destination for many Portland families, with a charming main street, the oldest golf course West of the Mississippi, and beautiful Cape Cod style homes. Gearhart is a magical little slice of Oregon coast heaven.
MANZANITA
& NEHALEM
Once thriving fishing and logging communities, Manzanita and Nehalem are now peaceful, yet sleepy communities between the Nehalem River and ocean. Like many of the smaller coastal areas, these little towns tend to come alive in the summer with a thriving main street of ice cream shops, eateries and bars. Year round, you can enjoy crabbing in the bay, exploring the state park and beaches.
